Yearbooks CA
Join us August 1-4 at our new and improved location for four of the most intense and productive days filled with yearbook you’ve ever experienced! The Lion’s Gate Hotel in Sacramento is our new home, with more space to spread out and work together, more affordable guest rooms if you decide to stay at the hotel (you won’t be spending very much time sleeping!) and a beautiful setting to get those creative juices flowing. Yearbooks CA is Northern California’s premier summer yearbook camp for award-winning publications.

About Us
Ray Slye is in his twentieth year as a Herff Jones Yearbooks representative in Sacramento. A former publications adviser at Tracy (CA) HS and Shadow Mountain HS (Phoenix, AZ), Ray has maintained close ties with scholastic journalism. He presents at conventions, co-directs the Yearbooks CA workshop and was recognized by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association with their Gold Key Award for his contributions to student publications.
Adam Slye is in his sixth year as a Herff Jones Yearbooks sales representative in the Sacramento area. A former graphic designer and professional photographer, Adam enjoys sharing his knowledge in desktop publishing and digital photography with advisers and students. He presents at national journalism conventions and area workshops in addition to co-directing the Yearbooks CA summer camp.
